I bought this collection a while ago, I put the lady from Walgreens through hell trying to get this collection complete. They were demi matte and I needed them all! When I found out SinfulColors was doing a demi matte collection I freaked. It's been a while since I got a good matte and these colors were fantastic. I was hoping they'd be great. Well, they are! You ready to see these?

My nails are still a complete wreck. I really wanted to wait until they were better before I swatched these, but one can only wait so long to swatch the new collection from Zoya. I dove in, nails first, and fell in love. The Matte Velvets are perfection in every way shape and form. It was complete torture to swatch these. I put one on, fell in love, then I had to take it off and was heart broken. That is, until the next color went on. Don't believe me? Keep reading.

I'm back!! After a fun couple weeks with the family I spent yesterday with a major swatch fest so I've got some fun stuff to show you all this week.

It's the end of July already?!?!?! WHAT?! Why is this year going by so fast?! My daughter is starting kindergarten in less than a month. This is just making me depressed! So let's get back to polish. Polish makes me happy. Polish doesn't leave me and run off to school when it turns five years old.

Happy Friday, lovelies!! I'm very excited about today's post. I get to show you all a peek into a new company...Nayll. Nayll is a custom "frankening" company. You create your own polishes on their site. Mix pigments together to make your own shimmer based polishes, or mix together some glitters for a fun topper. Not feeling very creative? They also have a range of jellies, cremes and premixed glitter polishes for you to choose from.

Nayll gave me the opportunity to create five polishes (two shimmers and three glitters) of my very own. I was so excited to get started!! I have a creative mind and love coming up with new polish ideas in my head, but when I sat at my computer to get started on this, I had a total brain fart. I had no idea where to start and I had zero inspiration. To get inspiration, I did what any sane person would do...I created a mini collection. Based off my favorite movie True Romance, I created two shimmers inspired by the main characters, and three glitter toppers based off secondary characters and one scene that has always stuck with me.

A lady in a group I'm in went to Hawaii a few weeks ago and posted a picture of an Island Girl display asking if we wanted anything. The unanimous answer was, "That's a stupid question!" I couldn't go overboard since she was buying for multiple people, including herself, and having to bring them back to the states with her. I saw they had trios, and I jumped at the chance to try this vibrant set that stuck out. Once I got the trio, I noticed that none of them had names. Kind of made me sad. I like being able to reference polishes by name. I'll let you know right now, that is the only bad thing I have to say about these.

Today, I wanted to use Matte-ict on all my glitter toppers from A Girl Obsessed. I wanted you all to really get a feel for how amazing this matte top coat really is. After these last three posts, I really hope you understand why you need it in your life.



I think matte-ing the top coats was so much fun!! Matte-ict totally changes the way these look, and not in a bad way at all! When the A Girl Obsessed opens shop again, Matte-ict should be the first thing in your cart! Only $7 and this bottle will be your new best friend!!

Today, I decided to swatch Matte-ict over all the A Girl Obsessed holographic polishes I owned. Hold onto your seats! This gets good!

Green Ocean is finally mine! For the past 2 years, every time I would go hunting for this elusive polish it was always gone. The whole display would be full except for a couple spots where Green Ocean should have been. A few weeks ago, I went to the grocery store and decided to cut through the cosmetics aisle for whatever reason and there it was!! A lone bottle just begging me to take it home. So I did. I'm beyond giddy that I actually have Green Ocean now!!
