Lollipop Posse Lacquer Midsummer Midnights Collection Swatch and Review

It's Monday, and I hope you've had your cup of coffee (or tea) (or whatever you enjoy in the mornings) because you need to be wide awake for today's post. Back in May, I had the pleasure of helping introduce you all to a new indie, Lollipop Posse Lacquer, with swatches of a few of her Dancing Girl Collection polishes. They were wonderful, and Lollipop Posse Lacquer was welcomed into the community with open arms. Not only will you guys flip over these beauties in her Midsummer Midnights Collection, but you'll run towards them screaming "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE!!".

She's switching things up with the Midsummer Midnights Collection. The polishes aren't all named after songs this time around. One is taken from a quote in a book, and another is from a poem. On top of that, she released darks in the middle of summer! (I mean, who does that?! Well, it's happening, just wait until tomorrow's post. You'll see more darks there too!) I'm also loving all the new music and reading I've discovered through Lollipop Posse Lacquer's collections.

A while back I won a polish naming contest on Instagram. Sincerely Polish had a beauty that needed a name. I commented with a few ideas and ended up winning. It sold out quickly and I didn't want to post about it since it wasn't available. Her shop is currently on vacation so I am going to show it off today!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend, especially those of you two had a three day weekend. Hubs doesn't get holidays off so we had a fairly normal weekend. We went driving around and headed to our favorite small town to eat at this little gem of a cafe (we discovered it by accident one day). We ran into a parade so of course we had to hang out to watch it. I'm not one for parades, but a small town parade is a lot of fun! I'm not fully converted, but I don't think I'll be able to say no to a small town get together now. After the parade, and lunch at the little cafe, we headed over to our favorite farm for some homemade ice cream and to get some other little goodies. We had forgotten the farmers market started back up so we missed that on Saturday, but I've already made note so we can go next Saturday. I'm super excited to be able to get back into the swing of that. On to why you're really here...

This post was originally to be for Monday, but I blanked on it being Memorial Day until some patriotic products came in. I'm beyond excited to show off these beauties from a brand new indie. Lorelei Lacquer is a new 5-Free, hand mixed, indie company, founded by the creative Jeanine, that will be opening up shop, officially, on June 26th. However, I've got her introductory collection on the blog today, because it will be available to pre-order on Friday May 29th! Her first collection is inspired by Adventure Time, a cartoon that you either love, hate, or know nothing about. I have a quirky 5 year old that absolutely LOVES it, and I've grown fond of it as well. Anything that promotes imagination, no matter how off the wall it is, I'm for. She originally got into it because of my brother. It was something special she could share with her uncle. 

The Adventure Time Collection is a 7 piece (used to be 8 but there were multiple complications with BMO so it was pulled for now. She is looking into solving the issues though, so don't worry) collection inspired by some of the main characters in this fun and quirky cartoon. To get you in the mood, I've included the opening to the cartoon!

I'm still trying to decide if I can say "Happy Tuesday" or not. I'm so tired! We had a huge storm here last night and the thunder kept waking my munchkin. I will admit, I'm typing this while fighting with myself on if I should continue to type the post or go back to bed. I can usually push through, but I'm just really tired. 

Ok, so we all know I'm going to push through. The excitement of showing you all a new indie outweighs the need to sleep. Lollipop Posse Lacquer is the hand made, 5-Free, vegan friendly love child of Karen, a special education teacher from Ohio by day and a fellow polishaholic by night. Her introductory collection is the Dancing Girl Collection. Each polish is named after a line in a Tori Amos song. This collection is NOT one to be missed! I have three of them to show you today.

Sweet Heart Polish Sweet Summer Memories Collection and Anniversary Polish Swatch and Review

Happy happy Monday, everyone!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We had a nice relaxing weekend. Hung out and did some crafts with the munchkin Saturday morning, went out for burgers, then went to the local farm to feed the new calves, we were going to stay and enjoy some fresh ice cream but a storm came through so we decided to go "storm chasing" and ended up driving through the woods and did a little hiking in the rain. Yes, I know, a little odd for us to have burgers before feeding the calves. I guess it's better than having burgers AFTER feeding them? Either way the burgers were delicious, and the calf we got was adorable! He was a month old, and loved the attention. He would lean into our hands when we were petting and scratching him just like a pup. Sunday, was relaxing day with the family and laundry day. It was nice and much needed.

Back to the reason you came, Sweet Heart Polish's new collection. The Sweet Summer Memories Collection is a set of four white crellies. Each filled with glitter and iridescent micro flakes. In addition to the Sweet Summer Memories Collection, Cassandra is releasing a special polish celebrating her two year anniversary of making beautiful polish. You won't want to miss any of these!

I went in to find some of the discontinued China Glaze polishes. They had pulled them all off the shelf and dumped them into a shopping basket. I was browsing through the basket and this stunning blue kept catching my eye.

It's been a few months since I've had anything new from Cameo Colours Lacquers to show you all. Trust me, this is well worth the wait. She had been testing the UCC flakies when everyone and their mother started releasing them. After the testing process was over and she had seen what had been offered she decided to come up with the Debutante Collection. Four beautiful crellies and a lovely full coverage topper. 

These polishes are every big as lovely as they are sassy...just like the perfect southern debutante. These speak for themselves.

It's the last Monday ever in April this year. I feel like 2015 is going to fly by and I'm not even going to remember it. However, the collections that have been flying at me this year are going to make sure I remember 2015 with high regard. It's overcast and dreary here so it's fitting that I've had this post scheduled for today.

The newest collection from LynBDesigns is the Vocab Collection. It is her brightest collection yet! Three neon holo shimmers, five creams and crellies, and two toppers. I ended up taking so many pictures and using the toppers on everything, so I've split this collection into three posts. Please stick with me here, I promise you won't be disappointed!

The Vocab Collection are all named after slang terms used lately. You may not like all the names, but you're going to love these polishes. Today, I'm showing off the creams and crellies.

YOU GUYS!!!!!! I've been looking for this beauty for so long! I already had the majority (5 out of 8) of the Holiday on Broadway Collection from OPI. I've been hunting for the last three at decent prices. I came across Man of La Mancha on someone's Pinterest sale and squealed from excitement. When it arrived, I placed it on my desk where I could just admire it's beauty until I had the time to really wear it and appreciate it. Now, that I've been able to enjoy it myself, I wanted to show it off to you all.

Hello everyone!!! Oh, how I've missed you! I've been working on some wonderful things! While on my little hiatus, my husband decided I could move all my polish up to our guest room and finally have a place of my own. I have been working on finally having everything organized. I still have a lot to do, so my posts will still be sporadic until I can get everything in order. So, please, bear with me for a bit. Then, I'll be able to get things back to normal and I want to work on trying new things and expanding my nail polish horizons!

For now, I have a new collection from LynBDesigns to show you all. The About A Galaxy Collection is  a beautiful twelve piece collection full of flakies!! All kinds of flakies!! Ultra chameleon chrom flakes. Iridescent fantasy flakies. Even some platinum flakies. She drew inspiration from the Galaxy Song from Monty Python's The Meaning of Life. I have been waiting to do this post for so long!! This is the Cameo Colours Lacquers polish I tried to do a couple weeks ago, but when I was swatching it, we realized that I was sent one from an earlier batch and it had been changed since. She sent me a brand new bottle, and I'm so glad she did. As much as I loved the first version, this one is absolute perfection!! Trust me!! 

*Note - please excuse the boo-boo on my ring finger. Not sure how it happened, but I don't photoshop, so you're going to have to deal with it for a moment.*

This collection is the Where Dreams Are Born Collection, inspired by the wonderful Peter Pan by J. M. Barrie. This set of eight glitter-filled sparklers, just might be my favorite yet! She never specified which adaptation it was inspired by, so I'm going to blend together all the movies and we can imagine together! Now, hold onto your bed posts, because there is so much pixie dust in these you'll be sure to fly away!!

I've had the Finger Paints Kaleidoscope collection since it arrived at my local Sally Beauty Supply, but it got buried under a ton of indies and I had forgotten about them. So glad to have found these and swatched them. I was only able to get a few from the original flakie collection, I couldn't let this one get away from me too. I know a lot of bloggers weren't thrilled with them, I had to find out for myself.
