NOTD - A Gap in the Cult
1:13 PMSo for this one I found inspiration in the 4 blogs that are participating in the Abstract Nail Art Challenge: Beauty Gnome, The Lacquerologist, Sincerely Stephanie and Manicurator. Day 4 was the v-gap challenge. Each one did something different with theirs (as you can see if you click each of their links above). I'm not skilled on the nail art, but I decided to give it a shot because it seemed like I could possibly do this one without a lot of skill.
When it came to picking colors, I knew what my base color would be in an instant... Cult Nails Cruisin' Nude. Since I haven't organized my polishes in my Helmer, it just so happened that Cruisin' Nude was sitting in between Cult Nails Iconic and Let Me Fly. It immediately became a no brainer! Use all 3!!
I used 2 coats of Cruisin' Nude on each nail. I did my v-gap on each ring finger with 1 coat of Let Me Fly. On all my other fingers, I did my v-gap with 1 coat of Iconic. And I topped with Seche Vite.
I really enjoyed this mani. My gap lines might not be straight, but I just need to work on that a bit. I think I did pretty good for it being my first time and for not having a very steady hand.
