NOTD - I joined a Cult.

10:42 PM

If you saw my post yesterday, you might have noticed I got a couple (ok, ok SIX!) polishes from Cult Nails when they had their second half off sale recently. It felt so good to finally get my hands on their polishes after drooling over them for so long! Let me just say that the pictures on their website don't do any of the bottles justice. I was in awe of every single one as I unwrapped the glorious burritos. Even Cruisin' Nude managed to make my jaw drop. I had no idea that it would have that shimmer in there. STUNNING! Anyway, now i'm just rambling.

So, of course I needed to have them on my nails ASAP!! Only problem, I have 7 how do I choose?! Pick 2 of them of course! As much as I was lemming over Toxic Seaweed, I dove for Hypnotize Me and Living Water. Just something about them was calling me! I've been on a blue/green/teal kick lately so it's probably not a real surprise why I was drawn to them. Living Water is a deep deep forest green with flakes of bright green glitter. It's an absolutely mysterious polish! Beautiful! Hypnotize Me is a pale green jelly with flakes of bright green glitter (it looks to be the same glitter that is in Living Water, just not as heavy).

I knew exactly what I wanted to do with these. I'm a fan of the "messy" French tip. I love how it looks like paint dripping down the nail. And it's a little easier to do when you don't need a slow and steady hand and you just want to add something quickly. I did 3 coats of Hypnotize Me and 1 small coat of Living Water. I used OPI's Natural Nail Base Coat and Seche Vite to finish.

I'm really loving these colors. The formula was beautiful and smooth. I had no issues and I was so happy. I had built up Cult Nails in my head and had already put them on this pedestal before I even tried them. They didn't disappoint. Can't wait to try the other colors!!

Happy Polishing!!
