I've got another fun item from Born Pretty Store for you all today. Since these were supposed to be for Valentine's Day manicures, I did pick items that were definitely feminine. I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about this item, but I took this opportunity to branch out and try something new. I ended up loving what I did with them. Let's get to it!

2mm White Pearls Set for Nails 10000 pcs (ItemID 1683)

OPI - Suzi Says Feng Shui, SinfulColors - Pink Forever, Amethyst and Mauve.

Everything I used in making this mani.

The final product! This ended up being such an easy and fun mani!

I started off by prepping each nail with Cult Nails Get It On base coat. Then I did two coats of the above polishes, each on a single nail. Once partially dry, I added a coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast top coat. Then I put small dolups of each of the polishes on a paper plate and (with the large dotting tool) I made polka dots on each nail. I used the pink on the blue and vice versa, and I used the light purple on the dark purple and vice versa. Once again, I let it dry a bit then I topped with Wicked Fast one last time. Only doing one nail at a time. I applied Wicked Fast to one nail, then added the pearls with tweezers before moving on to the next nail

I loved that some of the pearls ended off of the polka dots a little.

I wanted to do something different on my thumb. So instead of combining two colors that weren't paired up on the other four nails I opted to go natural. I did a coat of Cult Nails Get It On when I put it on the other nails. It was dry by the time I finished painting, dotting and pearling the other nails. So, then I did a coat of Cult Nails Wicked Fast and just started placing pearls on my thumb nail with tweezers. It ended up so dainty and feminine. I really fell in love with this nail and am craving a full mani like this.

The pearls are not very big, but they are easy to work with if you've got a pair of tweezers. The plus side to them being not so big, is they don't bug you if you aren't used to having 3D art pieces on your nails.

I have loved everything I have received from Born Pretty Store, but these little pearls have to be up there as one of my favorites. I've got so many ideas of what to do with them, I've had to start keeping a list. Hell, we are always looking for new ways of jazzing up a mani that we've had on for a couple days if we don't have the time to change it completely. These pearls are a very easy answer to that. Slap on an extra layer of top coat and place away! It's an easy alternate choice to slapping on a glitter top coat.

You can buy the little baggie of 10,000 pearls for $7.45. If you haven't noticed from any of my previous posts, Born Pretty Store has AMAZING prices, plus free shipping. I mean really?! We all know the cost of shipping is a big factor in where we shop. Free shipping is a plus right off the bat for me. Then there are the amazing prices. THEN there's my code (EQL91) for 10% off your entire order! You will definitely want to use this code and add these to your nail art decorations. If you're smart, you'll add a couple other things too!
