Cameo Colours Lacquer Divine Collection

**The products in this post were provided by the manufacturer for my honest review. All opinions are my own.**

**WARNING PICTURE HEAVY**

Today, I have some new spring beauties from Cameo Colours Lacquers! I was floored when I received the email telling me she was sending the Divine Collection my way. I had been drooling over the teaser picture she posted WAY before releasing the polishes. Now that I've been able to put them on, I'm not disappointed!

The Divine Collection is a set of six brightly hued holos. Yes, each color is wonderfully divine, but that's not why it's called the Divine Collection. Each polish is appropriately named after a goddess or divine being. I saw the names on the tops of the bottles before I saw the colors, and I knew I was going to love them immediately. I don't know a lot about ancient goddesses, but I recognized all the names. I had to look up what they were known for.

BTW - Notice the new logo on the bottles!! A beautiful cameo. Love the new labels!

Hathor is described as a "vibrant medium to light blue linear holographic". In the bottle it looks like a beautiful blue metallic, but once it hits your nails, especially in the sunlight, POW! Holo-y goodness!!

This is three coats of Hathor with Cult Nails Get It On and Wicked Fast base and top coats.

According to Wikipedia, "Hathor was an Ancient Egyptian goddess who personified the principals of joy, feminine love and motherhood."

Joy, feminine love and motherhood...this beautiful blue is perfectly represented with the name Hathor. It immediately puts a smile on your face and gives you a sort of calm nature.

Look at the color!! And that pop of sparkle from the holo!!

Ishtar is described as a "light minty green linear holographic". Once again, in the bottle it looks like a metallic, but on your nail, it's in your face with the holo! The soft, pale green is just delicious and the holo just adds the right about of juiciness!

This is three coats of Ishtar with Cult Nails Get It On and Wicked Fast base and top coats.

According to Wikipedia, "Ishtar was the goddess of love and war.

It may be soft in color, but it has a very strong presence. The perfect combo of love and war!

Simply beautiful!

Athena is described as a "light amethyst purple linear holographic".

This is three coats of Athena with Cult Nails Get It On and Wicked Fast base and top coats.

According to Wikipedia, "Athena was the goddess of wisdom and philosophy."

I think of wisdom and I always think of purple for some reason. Softening it up for spring and for a goddess was a no brainer. This is just perfection in a bottle. One of those no-brainer polishes you'd always find yourself reaching for the bottle.

Venus is described as a "lovely light pink linear holographic". This one really shocked me and made me fall in love immediately! On my skin tone, it almost felt like a metallic-holo-nude pink. I'm on a nude kick right now and Venus wowed me from every direction!

This is three coats of Venus with Cult Nails Get It On and Wicked Fast base and top coats.

According to Wikipedia, "Venus was the Roman goddess whose functions encompassed love, beauty, sex, fertility and prosperity."

Perfect name for a perfect polish! Nothing wrong going on here!

It'd be a sin not to own this polish!

Pele is described as a "peachy orange linear holographic". This was my next favorite of the six. Never really had an orange like this make me so very happy! Smooth and sultry and very juicy. It almost makes your mouth water!

This is three coats of Pele with Cult Nails Get It On and Wicked Fast base and top coats.

According to Wikipedia, "Pele was the goddess of fire, lightning, wind and volcanoes."

Fire. Lightning. Volcanoes. Pele. The name, the color, you can see the inspiration throughout. Beautiful!

Like an amazing sunset/sunrise on your fingertips.

Brighid is described as a "sunny light yellow linear holographic". Beautiful beautiful yellow. One that anyone could wear. Most of the time yellows are hard to wear, but Brighid was extremely flattering.

This is three coats of Brighid with Cult Nails Get It On and Wicked Fast base and top coats.

According to Wikipedia, "Brighid was described as a woman of poetry, and poets worshiped her, for her sway was great and very noble."

The holo in Brighid is very soft and subtle. It's not as present as it is in the other five in the collection. But in the above description that was on wiki, it makes sense to me. It's a subtly stunning polish and color.

Even though these beauties may look like metallics in the bottles, they really wowed in the holo department once out of the bottle and on the nail (with the exception of Brighid). They all applied perfectly smooth without any problems. Very impressive all around. Even though Brighid didn't have as much holo as the other five had, it's still a beautiful, soft yellow. You can see where the sparkle is trying to come through, and it does, just not in the holo form that the others have.

Cameo Colours Lacquers begins all her polishes with a 3-Free (no DBP, Toluene or Formaldehyde) base. Then, from there, she lets her creative juices flow. These are so feminine and etherial and couldn't be more perfect for spring! If you really feel like you can't pass a single one of them up, you can buy the whole Divine Collection for $50!! That's like buying 5 and getting one for free! You're practically silly if you pass that up! Other than that, you can buy single bottles for $10 a bottle. Amazing customer service, fast delivery and wonderful products! If you don't yet own anything from Cameo Colours Lacquers, I highly suggest you get it into your stash as soon as possible!! Plus, just wait until you see the gorgeous summer colors she's already planning!!! Trust me, you won't want to miss those! These beauties will be just the thing to hold you over for the bold in your face colors of summer!
