Turtle Tootsie Polishes The Nocturne of Secrecy Trio Swatch and Review

**Press Samples**

I have a fun sort of post to show you all in my first May post. Side note - how in the hell is it already May?! This year is getting out of hand. I don't know if I can handle how fast this year is flying by. Each year seems to go by faster and faster. I don't know why or how it is possible. Anyone else feel this way? Anyway...back to the polish. Chrissy, the mixologist behind Turtle Tootsie Polishes was contacted by Scarlett Rayne, an up-and-coming author, to create a trio of polishes inspired by her book, Nocturne of Secrecy. Her book releases on Amazon on May 3rd (yes, tomorrow), but I have swatches of the Nocturne of Secrecy Trio to show you all today. Let's get to it!

**WARNING PICTURE HEAVY**
Black Tie Affair
Black Tie Affair is described as "a sexy black jelly polish with assorted red holographic glitters".
Shown is three thin coats of Black Tie Affair with top coat.
Black Tie Affair is a dark and mysterious beauty. The black jelly base is a little sheer, but quickly buildable. I do thin coats, which is why I did three. If you're one who does thicker coats, two is easily done too. I love how this polish came to life in the right light. So much hidden deep in the darkness.

Wine-Stained Lips
Wine-Stained Lips is described as "a dark sultry burgundy polish with holographic micro glitter".
Shown is three thin coats of Wine-Stained Lips with top coat.
Wine-Stained Lips is sure to quench your thirst. This squishy jelly is buttery smooth, and the holographic glitter adds the perfect amount of sparkle to it. Perfect for a date night, or just to make yourself happy.

A Night in Prague
A Night in Prague is described as "a clear holo glitter topper filled with assorted gold holographic glitter and gold holo stars".
Shown is one coat of A Night in Prague over Rica Blackout with top coat.
A Night in Prague was one that really surprised me. It is so jam packed with glitter the smallest amount will get you a long way. You don't have to fish for the stars, but you won't always get them out of the bottle right away. The polish arrives smoothly, then just pick out some stars and toss 'em on. You'll love this as a full mani, or as an accent nail. Definitely goes with everything! I put it over a black, but I bet it would be amazing over a deep blue.

Turtle Tootsie Polishes killed it with the Nocturne of Secrecy Trio. Each one is absolutely beautiful, but together they make a great team. If you're like me and enjoy putting several different polishes together in one manicure, this trio will easily create one beautiful manicure. You'll be able to get this trio for yourself on May 4th at 9 pm EST for $25. It will be available at www.turtletootsiepolishes.com in full size only. There is only a limited number of these sets available. If there are any left after the launch, she will separate the rest and make them available as individuals.

Make sure you are following Turtle Tootsie Polishes on all of her social media platforms to stay updated on news, releases, and sales. Also, don't forget to check out Scarlett Rayne's new novella, Nocturne of Secrecy, when it releases on Amazon May 3rd.

What did you think of this set of polishes? Did you have a favorite? Do you like the idea of an author doing this to coincide with the release of a book? I think it's such a fun idea!
