LynBDesigns Young Frankenstein Puttin' On the Ritz Collection Swatch and Review

LynBDesigns released a new collection this past weekend. Jennalyn may do a lot of "fandom" collections, but she also tends to use her emotions to create polishes. This specific collection came from a recent celebrity death. Gene Wilder will be missed by many people of many ages. She chose to draw inspiration from her sadness. In that, we now have the Puttin' On the Ritz Collection inspired by Gene's movie Young Frankenstein.
**WARNING PICTURE HEAVY**
First, I just want to talk about how amazing this new soy candle scent smells! She released seven scents and I couldn't be happier that Eucalyptus & Spearmint was the one she sent me. It's soft and bright all at the same time. I'm very sensitive to scents and this one was perfect. The other six scents of soy candles are: cranberry sauce, nutmeg & cinnamon, caramel & sea salt, wassail, sugared pine, and orange chai tea. Each 9 oz jar sells for $12.

Ovaltine? is described as "a taupe-y tan base with hint of tonal shimmer, holo shimmer, and hint of brown micro glitter".
Shown is three coats of Ovaltine? with top coat.
Ovaltine? is such a lovely nude. Smooth application, fantastic formula. I did three thin coats, but you could do two if you did normal to slightly thick coats. I adore this polish, but the first thing I thought of when I put it on was Malt-O-Meal hot cereal. My mom used to make it when I was little and I vividly remember what it looked like. Soft, pale, creamy, and specks of brown. The gold shimmer sure makes this polish a lot prettier than the cereal though.

Put the Candle Back is described as "a pale off white base with orange-y golden shimmer, and orange iridescent glitter".
Shown is two coats of Put the Candle Back with top coat.
Put the Candle Back is dainty and delicate. The soft orange shades are beautiful in the white base. There is a lot of glitter in there, but don't worry, you won't have any issues with application. Beautifully opaque after two coats. This needs some fun stamping done over it.

Do You Also Say Frodrick? is described as "a sheer grey blue base with UCC flakies that shift from green to cyan to blue to purple to pink".
Shown is three coats of Do You Also Say Frodrick? with top coat.
Do You Also Say Frodrick? is extremely unique. The base is sheer but builds nicely. Opaque in three coats. You get so many beautiful flakies in those three coats too. The base ends up being slightly milky looking. I can't say that I've seen anything like this, but the simplicity of it is beautiful.

Abby Something

Source
Abby Something is described as "a deep berry base with rainbow chameleon flakies, teal shimmer, and holo micro shred".
Shown is three coats of Abby Something with top coat.
Abby Something is one crazy polish! Like it isn't crazy holo, or crazy full of flakies, or any of that. But it is a beautiful burgundy base but it looks teal due to the amount of shimmer. It will mess with your mind! It is sheer so I would recommend doing three coats, unless you apply two thin coats over an opaque berry base.

Quiet Dignity and Grace
Quiet Dignity and Grace is described as "an intense black galaxy holo and regular black holo in a black jelly base with holo shimmer".
Shown is two coats of Quiet Dignity and Grace with top coat.
Quiet Dignity and Grace is one of those polishes that is screaming to be the base of a galaxy manicure. There is a lot of glitter in there, but you won't have issues with application. The hint of blue glitter adds to the dimension and elevates it beautifully.

Taffeta Darling
Source
Taffeta Darling is described as "a deep purple jelly base with linear holo, green fantasy flakes, and shifting pigment that shifts from pink to orange".
Shown is two coats of Taffeta Darling with top coat.
Taffeta Darling is another beauty that can be worn on its own or over a darker polish. I was surprised that this one only needed two coats for opacity. I thought it was going to be super sheer. Not super sheer, but would look amazing over a navy, black, or plum cream. Smooth application and wonderful formula. This is definitely one you're going to keep reaching for.
