The G.N.O.M.E. Box October 2016 Swatch and Review

And it is already time for another G.N.O.M.E. Box! Time flies! I don't even realize it until I a monthly box shows up in my mail box. I think my neighbors think I'm nuts when I start yelling "AGAIN?!" when I pull a package out of my mail box. For those of you who don't know, G.N.O.M.E. stands for Glitter Nerds Of Magical Existance. It is a monthly box with Rica and Stardust Beauty as the main makers. Sometimes it will just be them, other times they have a single guest maker. There is a guest this month, and it is Jior Couture.

(Don't pay attention to the above picture. Jior accidentally sent minis for the bloggers. But you all should get full sized ones in your boxes.)

Gnomes & Goblins
Rica's contribution is Gnomes & Goblins.
Gnomes & Goblins is described as "a light grey linear holo with red shimmer and flash, and multichrome pink and gold flakies".
Shown is three coats of Gnomes & Goblins with top coat.
Gnomes & Goblins is slightly haunting. The shade a grey is like a deep fog. Thick at first, but once you get into it you can see the layers of all that it has consumed. The holo shimmer...the flakies...the flash...they are all fighting to be seen, and they do it in such a beautiful way. Smooth application, a little sheer. I did three thin coats, but if you aren't worried about dry time do normal coats and you'd have full opacity in two coats.

Gnomonstrosity
Stardust Beauty's contribution is Gnomonstrosity.
Gnomonstrosity is described as "a "very deep oxblood holo with red metallic micro flakies and a sprinkling of red holo micro glitter.

Gnomonstrosity is a vampy goddess. The color is deep and sultry. I was going to do thin coats, but didn't like how the glitter wasn't staying. I did normal coats this time around. I didn't wait long enough for each one to dry so I got a couple bubbles. Please excuse those. Other than those bubbles, this polish is flawless. Perfect for date night, girls night, or just a delicious bottle of wine night. Beautiful polish, just please ensure enough dry time between coats so that you don't get bubbles.

Gnome Tricks, Just Treats
Jior Couture's contribution is Gnome Tricks, Just Treats.
Gnome Tricks, Just Treats is described as "a darkened berry holo with multichrome flakes".
Shown is two coats of Gnome Tricks, Just Treats with top coat.
Gnome Tricks, Just Treats is a fantastic raspberry jelly! Smooth application and flawless formula! First coat was a little sheer, second coat made it pretty opaque on my nails. However, my nails are shorter than they usually are, so it is possible that you might need a third coat to ensure no VNL.

 The October 2016 G.N.O.M.E. Box will be available Thursday, October 20th at 8 pm EST at www.etsy.com/shop/justricarda for $24 + shipping. Don't forget, it is available to all you international lacquer lovers as well! There will be 20 boxes available to ship immediately. After that, you will be able to pre-order the box for one week or until they hit their max of 100 boxes. Again, after the first 20 are sold, the rest is a pre-order and product won't be shipped until all the polishes have arrived from other makers. Make sure you are following all the makers on their social media platforms (links below) to stay updated on news, releases, and sales.
