F4 Polish Review #2

**Product was sent to me for review. All opinions are my own.**
I have another F4 Polish to review for you today. I'm excited to show this one to you. You all know how much I love some matte glitter. :o)

F4 Polish - Fireside is a clear base filled with matte yellow micro glitter and matte orange small hex glitter. It's fun and vibrant! Don't be surprised if you see a post down the road where I pair it with Floam. Can't you just see it now?! I already can't wait!

Left to Right: 1 coat, 2 coats, 3 coats. I love that you'd be able to get to full coverage in maybe 4-5 coats, but I do like that you can see a definite difference between coats.

Left to Right: 1 coat, 2 coats, 3 coats

You know I love to show you different colors to layer glitter over. This is no exception. I had a lot of fun picking out obvious colors and not so obvious colors to put this over. I couldn't just leave it at 5.

These are the more obvious choices. Thumb to pinky: Cherimoya - Matte.n.a - Comedy, Essence - Colour & Go - Lime Up!, COS BAR - Target exclusive - unnamed yellow, L'Oreal - Tweet Me and Cherimoya - Matte.n.a - Matinee.

As seen above, left to right: Cherimoya - Matte.n.a - Comedy, Essence - Colour & Go - Lime Up!, COS BAR - Target exclusive - unnamed yellow, L'Oreal - Tweet Me and Cherimoya - Matte.n.a - Matinee.

This is 1 coat of F4 Polish - Fireside over 2 coats of Cherimoya - Matte.n.a - Matinee. I knew I needed to put Fireside over a white to make it pop. I only have 3-4 white polishes, but this is my go to white. I love matte polishes. Thinking back on it, since it's a matte polish and a matte glitter, I should have matted this out with a matte top coat, but I didn't use a top coat at all.  This white really shows off exactly what Fireside is. I loved this one.

This is 1 coat of F4 Polish - Fireside over 2 coats of L'Oreal - Tweet Me. I knew I needed to show it on some yellows even though the yellow wouldn't show off the yellow glitter. However, it really shows off the orange glitter. Tweet me is a soft lemon yellow filled with small gold flakes. I think the 2 really compliment each other here.

This is 1 coat of F4 Polish - Fireside over 2 coats of COS BAR - Target exclusive - unnamed yellow. This yellow has a little hint of lime in it and is more of a foil. I thought it was worth a shot, but I don't like this combo at all.

This is 1 coat of F4 Polish - Fireside over 2 coats of Essence - Colour & Go - Lime Up! Lime Up! is a lime green creme. These 2 were perfect together. It's like a citrus basket, lime, lemon and orange. Pictures didn't capture how pretty this actually was. I might be doing this again later...

This is 1 coat of F4 Polish - Fireside over 2 coats of Cherimoya - Matte.n.a - Comedy. Yet another matte polish. This time it's a bright neon orange. Yes, I should have matted this with a top coat as well, but I didn't. I'm ok with it though. I didn't enjoy this as much. It was such a bright orange it really drowned out all the colors in Fireside.

Not so obvious choices from pinky to thumb: China Glaze - Lubu Heels, OPI - Gone Gonzo, OPI - Fly, Zoya - America and Sonia Kashuk - Dream of Genie.

As shown above from left to right: China Glaze - Lubu Heels, OPI - Gone Gonzo, OPI - Fly, Zoya - America and Sonia Kashuk - Dream of Genie.

This is 1 coat of F4 Polish - Fireside over 2 coats of China Glaze - Lubu Heels. When I was trying to think of what polishes to put Fireside over, I confided in Carrie over at Ink&Polish and her first reaction was, "OMG you HAVE to put it over Lubu heels!!!" I was so glad she did, because this was BEAUTIFUL!!! I never would have picked it out. Her instinct was dead on. The black, with hints of red micro glitter PERFECTLY complimented the yellow and orange in Fireside.

This is 1 coat of F4 Polish - Fireside over 2 coats of OPI - Gone Gonzo. I knew I wanted to put it on a glitter. I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but I thought this would be an interesting combo. I was right. Still not sure how I feel about it. lol Gone Gonzo is a clear base filled to the max with bright baby blue micro glitter and medium sized silver hex glitter. Color wise, they should compliment each other, but I don't think that's the case here. Oh well, I tried...

This is 1 coat of F4 Polish - Fireside over 2 coats of OPI - Fly. Fly is a beautiful deep blue teal jelly. I loved these two together. You can see Fireside in all it's matte glory and Fly doesn't overwhelm it at all. Definitely a must combo in my opinion!

This is 1 coat of F4 Polish - Fireside over 2 coats of Zoya - America. America is a pure red creme through and through. Absolutely lovely on it's own, but with Fireside on top, it just explodes as a fire. This was definitely more fun than I thought it was going to be.

This is 1 coat of F4 Polish - Fireside over 2 coats of Sonia Kashuk - Dream of Genie. Dream of Genie is a Barbie pink creme. I thought it might be interesting, and I hate it. Fireside just fades away. Not good at all. Fireside needs to be shown off.

If you're a fan of matte glitter, Fireside is a must! It's so versatile and so much fun! F4 Polish's Etsy store is currently closed while they are on vacation, so keep an eye for their return around August 22nd. In the meantime, you can stalk their Facebook page, as people keep posting swatches and reviews over there. As far as I'm concerned, you can't go wrong with any of their polishes. I still have 2 more reviews for you coming up!
