Nails Inc Covent Garden

**The product in this post was purchased by me with my own money. All opinions are my own. I was not compensated.**

I've got a new (to me) brand to show you today. This time it's not an indie either. I had been given a $5 gift card to Sephora. I have never shopped there since the prices are too hight for me, so I opted to browse the clearance section. At the time, they had several Nails Inc products in the clearance section. I had never tried the brand and I figured, why not? I don't know what got into me, but I decided on a textured, or as Nails Inc calls is...beaded polish. Check out the swatches...

Covent Garden is a baby blue textured polish with medium sized silver hexes and small holographic glitters. This is two coats of Covent Garden for full opacity.

The color is beautiful, but that's about the only good thing I have to say about this polish. It's extremely difficult to apply and the brush is awful. The brush was thick and didn't feather or give. It was like trying to apply paint with a stick. Then, once on the nail, the glitter doesn't sparkle like it did in the bottle and the holographic glitter is swallowed up by the texture. Then the texture is crazy thick. I wanted to like it so badly and it's the worst texture I've tried. And for it being the first time I've tried Nails Inc, I was even more disappointed.

Have you tried any of their beaded polish or regular polish? What were your thoughts?

I used Sweet Nectar cuticle oil ($6) from A Girl Obsessed to hydrate my cuticles.

Same thing happened to me with one of their "beaded" polishes! Well, now we know why they were on the clearance rack at Sephora!

This reminds me of the Essie Treasure collection. I love it on you!

I find all Nails Inc polishes completely hit and miss! The formula varies so much even between the cremes, so its always a gamble. Some of the colours are worth it though but they don't even make it into my top 10 as a brand. Having said that, this colour looks great on you :)

I have a few colors of nails inc. and I really like all the ones that I have tried! I haven't tried any of the textures though. This color is gorgeous!
