I'm kind of sad that my 25 Days of Polish Giveaway is almost over. Only two more days left. Anyone else already looking forward to next year?! I published yesterday's post before I found out some amazing news, so I get to share it with you all today! Feedspot listed me as #19 in the top 50 nail polish blogs of 2016!! I cried when I read it. There are some fantastic ladies on that list, and it is an absolute honor to be listed among them. So, thank you to all of you, old and new readers, for sticking along with me over the past...almost 5...years. I couldn't have done it without you! The lovely Connie from Seventy Seven Nail Lacquer sent me some beauties from a past release of small batch polishes to review AND giveaway to one lucky winner! Today is another big day on the blog! The lovely Missi from Different Dimension was beyond excited to be a part of my 25 Days of Polish Giveaway. Starting in 2017, Bad Bitch Polish will be releasing a birthstone duo each month. I've got the January Birthstone Duo to show you all today. In case you weren't aware, the birthstone for January babies is the garnet. Garnets can range from the familiar deep reds to orange, yellow, green, purple, brown, blue, black, pink and colorless gems. She took inspiration from the basic, but beautiful, red garnet. I've got a couple pretties from My Indie Polish to show you all today. The only thing with these, is that they are polishes for a special group on Facebook for people who love crelly polishes. They do customs, like the ones I'm showing you today, and people are always showing off crelly based beauties from other brands. It's definitely one you want to be a part of. My Indie Polish created the customs this month. I know my photo shows two different sized bottles, but they are only being sold in full sized bottles. I've got a new to me brand on the blog today. Today, was actually supposed to be Supermoon Lacquer. Sadly, the items she was sending for the giveaway are completely lost in the mail. I thought I was going to have issues filling another day that product didn't arrive for, and I reached out to Tonic Nail Polish. She happily jumped in, but when that item arrived and the Supermoon Lacquer stuff got lost, I knew these would be the perfect replacement. Thank you so much to Lindsey, the genius behind Tonic Nail Polish, for jumping in and making such amazing polishes. I told her to send whatever she wanted, and she even sent some stuff for me to swatch for you all. I squealed with delight when I was unwrapping them. The Nouveau Geek Box is back! It was supposed to be available a lot sooner, but Jennifer was sick for a while and it got postponed. This time around there is only three polishes, but that's ok these ladies did a phenomenal job...and the box is a bit more affordable too! The theme is Diamond Cluster Hustlers Trio, inspired by three lovely comic book villains that we hate to love. Or is it love to hate? Whatever it is, these are a lot of fun and you will definitely find yourself falling for them. The makers this time around are Bohemian Polish, Lemming Lacquer, and BlackLace Cosmetics.
I may have some goodies from Bohemian Polish to show you today, but it will not be involved in the giveaway. The giveaway today is from NailNation3000. She was one of the first people to sign on to do the giveaway a couple months ago. But then she got sick and things happened so she wasn't able to get the store reopened in time or send me anything to show to you all. Instead, she insisted I do two giveaways for some gift certificates. One for US residents and one for international residents. I had been sent the wrong product for a post you will see tomorrow, so I had to drive to meet up with Jennifer from Bohemian Polish so she could give me the right item. It is nice living so close to a maker. haha She doesn't know what she's in for. She heard I was a bit short for todays post and gave me a couple polishes and cuticle oils to show off. To you all today might be Wednesday, or even day 14 of my 25 Days of Polish Giveaway, but for me...today is my BIRTHDAY! Since the lovely Allison from LE Polish wanted to giveaway a bottle of the polish I created for her holiday collection, and I've already shown it off to you all HERE, I knew exactly what I had to do...I bought a bottle of her polish that celebrates Sagittarius. It was the obvious thing to do. LE Polish has a Birthday Club series where she creates a polish for each astrological sign and releases them on the first day of that sign. If you're a member of her Facebook fan group you even get to help with the creative process. I'll explain more about it later, but it's a blast!
LynBDesigns decided to do a little something different this year. She had her fabulous 50% off sale for Black Friday, and she released a darling trio, and had the 4 LE polishes you could either purchase or get via GWP. On top of all that, she decided to release a 12 Days of Holo Mystery Box. One price got you thirteen individually wrapped polishes. Yes, it is called 12 Days of Holo Mystery Box, but the thirteenth item is just a little something extra. Well, there is no way I could pass it up. I'm so excited to have Drip Drop Nail Paint on the blog today. I've only ever swatched this brand when it was sent to me in boxes. A while back I was drooling over the first nail wheel swatches that Michelle shared of her, then upcoming, Christmas 2016 Collection. I couldn't wait, and I bought myself an early birthday present and got the whole collection. This month, Anchor & Heart Lacquer decided to do something different. Where she normally does her monthly fan favorites duos, she thought doing a trio would be fun for the holidays. The product I'm showing you all today isn't new, by any means, but it is my first time trying this one. So, you all get to hear about it! I've only tried one other kind of nail tape, and it was good, but the smell got to me. The Mani Defender from Ellison's Organics is ammonia free, so I didn't have the smell/migraine issues with it.
