Tonic Nail Lacquer Swatch and Review and Day 18 of 25 Days of Polish Giveaway

12:10 AM

**Press Sample**

I've got a new to me brand on the blog today. Today, was actually supposed to be Supermoon Lacquer. Sadly, the items she was sending for the giveaway are completely lost in the mail. I thought I was going to have issues filling another day that product didn't arrive for, and I reached out to Tonic Nail Polish. She happily jumped in, but when that item arrived and the Supermoon Lacquer stuff got lost, I knew these would be the perfect replacement.

Thank you so much to Lindsey, the genius behind Tonic Nail Polish, for jumping in and making such amazing polishes. I told her to send whatever she wanted, and she even sent some stuff for me to swatch for you all. I squealed with delight when I was unwrapping them. These three aren't in the shop right now, and I honestly don't know if they will be restocked or not. This giveaway might be the last way to get these polishes...don't hold me to that. Might is the key word. Keep reading to see what polishes she sent for the giveaway and to check out these swatches!

**WARNING PICTURE HEAVY**
Incandescent
Incandescent is described as "a metallic ballet pink multichrome that shifts to peach and icy lemon yellow with a subtle scattered holo shimmer".
Shown is three coats of Incandescent with top coat.
Incandescent is a stunning ethereal polish! It has a smooth application, and doesn't leave brush strokes...even though it looks like it is crazy metallic. I did three thin coats because I'm always afriad lighter colors like this are super sheer. I think you might be able to get away with two regular coats if you don't like to do multiples. The shift is absolutely amazing. I love how strong it is, but it is dainty and flirty all at the same time. I bet it would be great as a topper over a black or navy too.

Stars at Twilight
Stars at Twilight is described as "a dark denim blue cream with with red/pink-gold shifting multichrome shimmer and silver holo micro glitters".
Shown is two coats of Stars at Twilight with top coat.
Stars at Twilight threw me for a loop! It reminds me of the sunsets we get to look at out the back of our condo. We over look a mini mountain range, and often have the pink/orange sherbet looking sunsets over the purple looking mountains. I can see why so many people adore this one. Smooth application. Almost a one coater, but I did two just to be safe...and to get a bit of that extra sparkle.

Dragon Tears
Dragon Tears is described as "a polish made from some of the shiftiest multichrome pigment available, and it shifts through a whole rainbow of green-blue-purple-red-peach-gold-and back to green at the furthest angle, as well as a sparkling scattered holo that does not dull the color shift and a sprinkling of tiny silver holo micro glitters".
Shown is three coats of Dragon Tears with top coat.
Dragon Tears will make you wish there really were dragons so you could capture their tears. The multichrome is absolutely nuts! It would not stop changing colors. I felt like it was a kaleidoscope polish or something. All it was missing were the funky shapes. It was a little sheer, so I did three thin coats.
