Daily Hues Nail Lacquer, Model City Polish, and Philly Loves Lacquer Swatch Spam and Review and Day 21 of 25 Days of Polish Giveaway

12:40 AM

**Press Samples and Purchases**

Today's post is kind of a sad one. I'm showing off some polishes from three brands that are no longer with us. Each one has closed up shop within the past 2 months. I thought it would be fun to bundle all three into one day so one person will win polishes from three brands you can no longer buy from. One of those is even a custom created just for this giveaway. It's a pretty long post so let's get to it! No need to wait.

Daily Hues Nail Lacquer
Jenn created a custom polish for this giveaway. She wanted to do something really special for you all. I love and hate that this is the last polish she will make. It is amazing!

One Last Hurrah!
One Last Hurrah! is a purple jelly base filled with UCC flakies and purple flakes.
Shown is two coats of One Last Hurrah! with top coat.
One Last Hurrah! is a flakie masterpiece! I was in utter shock that it only took two coats to be opaque. Smooth application, and wonderful formula. One of you ladies is in for a real treat!

Model City Polish
I purchased a couple of these polishes to show you today and told her she could send whatever she wanted for the giveaway. She went a little crazy and sent extras for me...AND for the winner!

Wrapped in Wool
Wrapped in Wool is a cool grey crelly filled with silver holo micro glitter and holographic sparkle.
Shown is two coats of Wrapped in Wool with top coat.
Wrapped in Wool is my fave of the bunch. It's like a warm sweater on your nails. Perfect for the chilly weather. Two wonderful coats will get you a fully opaque nail.

Dipping Chocolate 2.0
Dipping Chocolate 2.0 is a rich, milk chocolate crelly filled with silver, gold, and holo shimmer.
Shown is two coats of Dipping Chocolate 2.0 with top coat.
Dipping Chocolate 2.0 is perfection!! Two smooth coats is all you will need. It's just begging for some nail art or stamping to be done over it.

Berry Sweet
Berry Sweet is a red leaning pink jelly filled with pink and red holo micro glitter and holographic shimmer.
Shown is three coats of Berry Sweet with top coat.
Berry Sweet has a great formula and application. I did three coats to ensure opacity and to get some extra glitter in there.

Cool Waters
Cool Waters is a green leaning turquoise jelly filled with lime and blue holo micro glitter, and matte lime and turquoise glitter.
Shown is two coats of Cool Waters with top coat.
Cool Waters has a slightly thick formula, but is easy to apply. Two coats will get you all the opacity and glitter you could want.

Cosmic Lovers
Cosmic Lovers is a navy blue filled with silver holo glitters and a holographic shimmer.
Shown is two coats of Cosmic Lovers with top coat.
Cosmic Lovers has a very thin formula. It will apply well, but don't load up the polish on the brush or you will flood your cuticles. Only two coats was needed for full opacity.

Itty Bitty Bikini
Itty Bitty Bikini is a purple jelly filled with lavender and pink holo glitter, and matte pink, purple, and blue glitters.
Shown is two coats of Itty Bitty Bikini with top coat.
Itty Bitty Bikini is a bit thick, but it applies well. Two coats is all you'll need!

Philly Loves Lacquer
Esther from Philly Loves Lacquer sent three beautiful polishes from her basics line. I swatched these for her, but never got to do a post on them. Now you get to see my swatches!

Queen Lane
Queen Lane is a bright red crelly.
Shown is two thin coats of Queen Lane with top coat.
Queen Lane has a great application and smooth formula. I thought it would take three coats to reach full opacity, but it only took two.

Tulpehocken is a deep, blackened blue crelly.
Shown is three thin coats of Tulpehocken with top coat.
Tulpehocken is such a lovely shade of blue. It seriously almost looks black. It's a very opaque jelly, so it's more of a crelly.

Carpenter Ln.
Carpenter Ln. is a black creme.
Shown is two thin coats of Carpenter Ln. with top coat.
Carpenter Ln. has a great application and beautiful formula. A perfect basic black.

All three of these shops are closed. You can't buy these any more unless you get really lucky with a destash or blog sale. This is your last chance to get them! So go enter the giveaway and good luck to all!
