It's Tuesday!!! UGH This week is just DRAGGING by! I was sure it was Thursday when I woke up. Anyway! I've got some fun nail art to show you all. This time it's with some studs (in different shapes and sizes) from Born Pretty Store! Nail art is a little out of my comfort zone, but these studs put it way out of my comfort zone. However, I was really happy with these and am already looking forward to using them again.

Born Pretty Store studs (#4993)

It took me a few moments to really figure out what color(s) I wanted to use with these. I finally decided on two polishes I recently got from Mary Kay.

I started off with two coats of Radiant Red. Once that dried, I used a small nail art brush and Crushed Pearl to finish off the mani. I made a V at the base of the nail and then painted up towards the tip with Crushed Pearl. I did three coats of Crushed Pearl, but a bit of the red still shone through. I ended up liking the way Radiant Red tinted Crushed Pearl. Once that was dry, I picked out exactly which studs I was going to use. I decided on some large elliptic and small round gold studs. I topped each nail with Glisten & Glow HK Girl top coat then used some nifty tweezers I recently got off Amazon to place the studs on the nails immediately after applying top coat.

As out of the box as these studs might have been for me, I ended up falling head over heels for them! I already can't wait to use them again!! They were incredibly easy to use and stayed in place perfectly! I already have so many ideas for the other 10 studs I haven't used yet. Some are gold and some are silver so combining the two will definitely happen at some point.

You can buy this set of 12 studs (#4993) at Born Pretty Store for $4.89 and all orders, world wide, get free shipping. I've also been given a 10% off code you can use: EQL91. While you're there, check out other things. They have so much to offer the world of nail art. You might end up feeling a little overwhelmed, but you're sure to find something!
