Bohemian Polish Adirondack Winter Collection Swatch and Review and Day 12 of 25 Days of Polish Giveaway

11:58 PM

**Press Samples**

Happy Saturday, everyone!! I've got the gorgeous Adirondack Winter Collection from Bohemian Polish. For this collection, she found inspiration in stories her husband has told her about being from upstate New York. He shared fond memories of spending winter days and nights at Cranberry Lake. He’s told her stories of being stuck inside watching the snow fall, then later going snowmobiling around Cranberry Lake and marveling at the sparkling drifts. They have made their own trips to Lake Placid to see where the Miracle on Ice happened, they’ve gone wandering on and off trails underneath the boughs of pine, and they’ve sat by the lakeshore as twilight sets in. They’ve sat around the fire listening to the loons, even after the bonfire has faded to ash and gleaming embers. All of this is shown in the collection. Keep reading to find out for yourself.

Lake Placid Gold is a refreshing glitter. I love that it is filled with the fine micro glitter. It's packed with glitter. I believe it would be opaque in two coats, but i did a third coat to be safe for the macro shots.

After the Bonfire is described as "an ash grey cream with blue to gold shifting flakes".
Shown is three coats of After the Bonfire with top coat.
After the Bonfire is actually a crelly, not a full cream. It is the surprising one of the bunch. You know I love a grey, and this still wasn't the first one I was drawn to. Then I put it on and...BAM...holy flakie heaven.

These are gorgeous! If you've never bought from Bohemian Polish, know that her polish is on the thinner side. Don't try to do thick coats or your cuticles will need a floatation device. Not a bad thing, just make sure you use thin coats and all will be well. The Adirondack Collection is available now for $9 - $10 each. This collection is lovely and cohesive, and you can really the inspiration throughout. Be sure to follow her on all of her social media platforms (links below).
