Vapid Swatch and Review and Day 21 of 25 Days of Polish Giveaway

1:02 AM

**Gifted to me and Purchased by me**

I've got my first polishes from Vapid to show you all today! I had help from a couple people in getting these. I don't buy from shops where you normally have to buy right when items are restocked. I know it doesn't happen like that normally with Vapid, but the main polish I wanted was selling quickly. A lovely lady in the group snagged it for me and generously gifted it to me. Another lady got a bottle for me, but, when the other lady got the one for me she got to keep hers. This excited her to no end. However, she did grab a couple others for me and I was able to pay her back. The Vapid Facebook fan group is full of wonderful, generous ladies. However, now...you get to see the pretties!
**WARNING PICTURE HEAVY**
Grape Stomp is described as "a vivid purple jelly polish packed with linear holo".
Shown is three coats of Grape Stomp with top coat.
Grape Stomp is a sheer, but buildable, jelly. Three coats brought it to full opacity. A beautiful formula with smooth application. This purple may be hard to capture in photographs, but it is absolutely stunning.

TKO 190
TKO 190 is described as "a black base filled 3 different UCC flakies, purple holographic sparkle, and scattered holo".
Shown is three coats of TKO 190 with top coat.
TKO 190 is freaking gorgeous. I love love love black based polishes, and this stunner doesn't disappoint. Without a doubt my favorite of the three. Great application despite how packed this polish is. I'd suggest three coats for full opacity. Thicker coats is never better.

Sweaters 'n Denim
Sweaters 'n Denim is described as "a denim blue when cold and a coppery nude when warm with a copper shimmer throughout".
Shown is three coats of Sweaters 'n Denim with top coat without manipulation.
Sweaters 'n Denim is beautiful! This is the polish that made me take notice of Vapid. The copper shimmer is wonderfully vibrant, and...come on...NUDE! I love nude polishes! The formula was spot on, the application was perfection...except for one thing. After each coat was applied, I had to pick out a couple clumps of pigment. Normally it doesn't bother me when there are small clumps of pigment, but these pieces stayed blue when the polish turned to nude. It bugged me so I had to take them out. I do like the end result though. The little bit of frustration was worth it in the end.

All in all, my first experience with Vapid was good. She has a polish for everyone in her shop. As long as you're not trying to grab the most popular one, in that case you better have a good trigger finger during restocks (or a friend who has one). Definitely check her shop out. Her polishes range from $8 - $12 depending on what you're looking for. Never tried Vapid or loooooove her and want more? Check out today's giveaway! Keep reading...you won't be sorry.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!
NOW, for the big news! How about a giveaway? How about 25 giveaways? Yes, I said 25. Let's think of it like an advent calendar of giveaways. We will have a different giveaway each day. Each giveaway will be open from 12 am EST and will run for 24 hours until 11:59 pm EST. All giveaways will be entered via Rafflecopter here on my blog. Each day the rafflecopter will be at the bottom of the daily posts (yes, I'll be posting every day...including weekends...for this giveaway). Each giveaway will have different rules. Some giveaways are international, some will require international entrants to pay shipping if they win, and some are US only. Please pay attention. All the prizes (except the one I purchased) were generously donated by each brand, and will be sent to the winners by each maker. Let's have fun! I'm hoping this is received well and can become an annual thing. If you have any questions, please email me at nakedwithoutpolish@gmail.com.
