Black Cat Lacquer Review #5

1:49 PM

Happy Friday, lovelies!! Today is the last day showing off Black Cat Lacquer's "Party Monster" collection. So sad, but next week... you guys might be in for a giveaway or 2 or MORE?!?!?!?!!!!! And I have so many more reviews for you all! <3

Black Cat Lacquer - Peacocky

Peacocky is a clear base filled with multiple shades of teal, purple and blue medium hex glitter and holo teal micro glitter. It's enough to make any peacock jealous!

Left to right: 1 coat, 2 coats, 3 coats

Trying to get the holo to come out and play!!

This is 3 coats of Peacocky.

Left to right: Cult Nails - Nevermore, Nicole by OPI - All Kendall-ed Up, Orly - Grave Mistake, Essie - Mezmerised and L'Oreal - Paparazzi Pleaser.

As seen above from pinky to thumb.

This is 1 coat of Peacocky over 1 coat of Cult Nails - Nevermore. This is definitely an obvious go to, and it's beautiful! Each piece of glitter just pops off the nail. Absolutely lovely!!

This is 1 coat of Peacocky over 2 coats of Nicole by OPI - All Kendall-ed Up. Hot pink does nothing for Peacocky. It definitely needs a jewel toned polish under it.

This is 2 coats of Peacocky over 2 coats of Orly - Grave Mistake. I really liked this combination. I know it's a little unconventional putting the jewel toned glitters over a red, but it works! Probably my favorite combination of the five!

This is 1 coat of Peacocky over 2 coats of Essie - Mezmerised. This combination wasn't terrible, but it didn't do any favors for the teal glitter, so I won't be doing it again. This is definitely a polish where I want everything to shine.

This is 2 coats of Peacocky over 2 coats of L'Oreal - Paparazzi Pleaser. I liked the subtleness of this combination. Paparazzi Pleaser was a soft enough base to let all the glitter stand out, but not in an overwhelming way.

All-in-all, I'm very impressed with all the polishes I've tried from Black Cat Lacquer. I wil definitely be coming back for more! You can grab Peacocky or any others on their ETSY shop for $9 a bottle. Or, keep track of news on their Facebook page
