A Rhyming Dictionary Zella

11:30 AM

Can you believe it's Thanksgiving Eve?!?! I'm so excited! I love the holidays! I'm going to try to keep the rambling to a minimum so you can spend your day preparing for tomorrow instead of reading. There are a lot of pictures though! :o)

Today I have a lovely matte glitter polish from A Rhyming Dictionary.

A Rhyming Dictionary - Zella

Zella is a clear base filled with white and black small hex matte glitter and neon yellow matte micro glitter.

Left to right: 1 coat, 2 coats, 3 coats

Three coats of A Rhyming Dictionary - Zella.

I love this matte glitter. The colors are simple yet playful. The polish went on nicer than I was expecting. As much as I love matte glitter, sometimes they don't go on very smooth. There was no dabbing to make sure there weren't any naked spots, and there was no pulling on coats 2 and 3.

Left to right: Color Club - He Loves Me, Cult Nails - Scandalous, Max Makeup Cherimoya - Matte.n.a - Comedy, Barielle - Mint Ice Cream Cone and butter LONDON - British Racing Green.

As seen above from pinky to thumb.

This is one coat of Zella over two coats of Color Club - He Loves Me. I thought putting Zella over a baby pink was so much fun. I loved how soft and feminine Zella became. It was a great transformation!

This is one coat of Zella over two coats of Cult Nails - Scandalous. Scandalous is a great coral jelly, but this combination wasn't great. The neon yellow didn't look great over the coral. It was very awkward.

This is one coat of Zella over two coats of Max Makeup Cherimoya - Matte.n.a - Comedy. Comedy is a matte neon orange. If you are feeling loud and crazy, this is a combination for you!

This is one coat of Zella over two coats of Barielle - Mint Ice Cream Cone. I loved this combination as much as the first one. I have a feeling that doing a manicure with Mint Ice Cream Cone and He Loves Me then topping with Zella would be a great manicure. One that you might even see in the future from me. :o)

This is one coat of Zella over two coats of butter LONDON - British Racing Green. I liked this combination, but I didn't. The white and neon yellow glitter looked fun, but the black had problems standing out. Zella definitely does better over the softer colors.

A Rhyming Dictionary made a great matte glitter polish! I can't wait to use it again! You can get Zella as well as several other beauties on their ETSY page for $7.50. Trust me, you won't have just one bottle in your shopping cart. She's got too many beauties to just pick one.

Happy Polishing!!
