Wonder Beauty Products - Valentines Day Collection

**WARNING PICTURE HEAVY**

Today, I have the beautiful Valentines Day Collection from Wonder Beauty Products. I was so excited when I unwrapped these. I have never tried Wonder Beauty Products, and when I was contacted by Jen to review this set I decided not to look them up. I wanted to be surprised and not have read any other reviews.

The Valentines Day Collection is a fun, five polish collection that includes a beautiful linear holo and two glitter top coats. Don't let the bottles fool you, they may look like you've seen them before, but the originality comes out on the nail. Let's jump right in because there is so much to show you!

Wonder Beauty Products Valentines Day Collection

Kismet is a beautiful royal blue based polish filled with silver macro shimmer and haunted with blue micro glitter. Scattered throughout are fuchsia shards and medium and small sized teal hexes. It looks like there is a fuchsia macro shimmer shimmer in there too, but I'm not 100% on that. There's a chance it could be a reflection of the shards on the silver shimmer.

This is three coats of Kismet over a clear base coat. Two coats could have easily been used, but I wanted to ensure full opacity and that I had some of all the glitter on my nails. Application was ever so slightly on the thick side, but there were no issues with pulling. Kismet completely evened out with a top coat. Clean up was a breeze.

The macro shimmer gives Kismet a beautiful cosmic depth.

Wonder Beauty Products - 1 Dozen Heart Bouquet

1 Dozen Heart Bouquet is a clear base base with large pink and red heart glitter, macro gold holo glitter, micro red glitter, small go hex glitter, medium pink, red and gold hex glitter, large pale pink hex glitter, and shards in pink, red and holo gold. It seems like a lot, but it's such a well balanced mixture. Not overdone at all. As most of you know, I'm not a fan of huge pieces of glitter, but it seems I'm starting to not mind them as much. Especially in cases like this where you don't get a brush full of annoying large glitters. The hearts were well scattered and I was pleasantly surprised.

Left to right: 1 coat, 2 coats, 3 coats

This is three coats of 1 Dozen Heart Bouquet over a clear base coat. Application was incredibly smooth. Such a wonderful formula on the base. Not too think, not too thin...just right. I didn't specifically place glitter anywhere and there was no fishing for anything. This beauty really didn't need clean up either. Huge plus!

I love the random hints of the holo. It just adds to the whimsy that 1 Dozen Heart Bouquet has.

Let's see how it looks over some different colors.

Left to right: Sally Hansen - Complete Salon Manicure - Pumice (Target exclusive), Zoya - SunnyCult Nails - Cruisin' Nude, Cult Nails - My Kind of Cool Aid and OPI - The Color of Minnie.

As seen above from pinky to thumb.

This is two coats of 1 Dozen Heart Bouquet over two coats of Sally Hansen - Complete Salon Manicure - Pumice. Pumice is a cool, blue toned grey creme. I chose this specific color because I didn't want the drabness of a true grey and I didn't want the brightness of a blue. I wanted to see 1 Dozen Heart Bouquet hold its own without any distractions. I truly loved this pairing.

This is two coats of 1 Dozen Heart Bouquet over two coats of Zoya - Sunny. Sunny is a beautiful combination of coral, copper and pink. This was a no brainer pairing for me. The colors compliment each other beautifully. I fell in love. The colors in 1 Dozen Heart Bouquet pull out subtle hints of each of the colors from Sunny. I loved it so much, I did a full mani with it.

This is two coats of 1 Dozen Heart Bouquet over two coats of Cult Nails - Cruisin' Nude. Cruisin' Nude is a beautiful olive toned nude with a beautiful fuchsia shimmer. I knew I had to pair these two because 1 Dozen Heart Bouquet would pull the shimmer out. I was right, look how beautiful these are together!!

This is two coats of 1 Dozen Heart Bouquet over two coats of Cult Nails - My Kind of Cool Aid. My Kind of Cool Aid is a beautiful purple creme with a silver shimmer. It looks like it would smell like grapes. (It doesn't, I ended up sniffing it a couple times not remembering that it isn't a scented polish.) lol I wanted to try 1 Dozen Heart Bouquet with an unconventional base color but one that would still compliment the colors of the glitter. This was such a lovely pairing. It would make a great accent nail or two.

This is two coats of 1 Dozen Heart Bouquet over two coats of OPI - The Color of Minnie. The Color of Minnie is a blue toned red creme with a hint of shimmer. It's a beautiful color, just like 1 Dozen Heart Bouquet, but the two didn't go well together. The red glitters in 1 Dozen Heart Bouquet are practically the same color red and they don't stand out. They completely blend in. Not a pairing I would do moving forward.

Wonder Beauty Products - Blue Sterling

Blue Sterling is a beautiful, soft blue-grey linear holo creme. The formula is fantastic and easy to work with. For some reason, I expected it to be on the thick side, but instincts were wrong! There is not a bad thing to say about this polish. It's such a soft color that it is work appropriate AND it's filled with that wonderful sparkle. You really can't go wrong.

Another bottle shot showing the holo better.

This is three coats of Blue Sterling over a clear base coat. It had a wonderful dry time and no pulling occurred. Application was smooth and perfect, and there was barely any clean up needed. The only downside to this polish is having to take it off. It was almost heart breaking.

Look at that perfection!

Wonder Beauty Products - Roxie Hart

Roxie Hart is that same beautiful clear base with silver micro glitter, small and medium silver hex glitter, large silver bar glitter, small red bar glitter, silver holo shards and large black heart glitter. My first impression of Roxie Hart was, "really?" One can only have so many glitter top coats with these colors. Once again, my first impression was WRONG!! It looks so jumbled in the bottle but it smooths out on the nail. you really get to see everything clearly.

Left to right: 1 coat, 2 coats, 3 coats

This is three coats of Roxie Hart over a clear base coat. First of all, three coats is way too much for me. I did three coats because I thought you'd see the polish better. No, two coats definitely makes Roxie Hart shine more. Application was good. It was a little more "off" than 1 Dozen Heart Bouquet because of the bar glitter. Those need to be manipulated a bit more than any other glitter, I've found. I had to fish for the hearts a little, but other than those small things, there were no issues.

Such a simple combination goes a long way. I think Roxie Hart is feisty and fun! (Just like the character from Chicago.)

I had to put Roxie Hart over some different color bases to see how playful she was.

Left to right: Essie - Mezmerised, SinfulColors - Pull Over, New York Color - Long Wearing - French White Tip, Zoya - Ziv and Wet n Wild - Megalast - Tropicalia.

As seen above from pinky to thumb.

This is two coats of Roxie Hart over two coats of Essie - Mezmerised. Mezmerised is a bright blue creme. With the black, red and silver glitter how could I not put it over a blue. It was beautiful and patriotic and would make the perfect Valentine's Day manicure if you are married/dating a service man. It's full of love, pride and patriotism and is sure to make him smile.

This is two coats of Roxie Hart over two coats of SinfulColors - Pull Over. Pull Over is a bright yellow creme. I am a sucker for this combination so I just had to show it to you all. It's just missing one of the hearts, but I love this! I can't do a full mani with yellow on my skin tone, but it would make a wonderful accent nail or two.

This is two coats of Roxie Hart over two coats of New York Color - Long Wearing - French White Tip. French White Tip is a basic, no frills white creme. This was a great way to show off Roxie Hart without using a nude color. Roxie Hart is too much fun to be put over a nude. Popping her over a pure white is a good way to tone down the feistiness she tends to have.

This is two coats of Roxie Hart over two coats of Zoya - Ziv. Ziv is a beautiful gold foil polish. I'm one of the weirdos who loves gold and silver together (I really need to get a silver foil polish), so this pairing was a no brainer. I really enjoyed it! I know it is a pairing that you will either love or hate, but I love it!

This is two coats of Roxie Hart over two coats of Wet n Wild - Megalast - Tropicalia. Tropicalia is a dusty carnation pink creme. I'm also a fan of the red/pink combination. It took me a few minutes to decide on this specific pink and I'm really glad I did. It might be a tad bit unconventional, but I think it turned out to be a beautiful combination. It gives a real softness to Roxie Hart. Makes her seem slightly innocent for a little bit.

Wonder Beauty Products - Let's Play Footsie

Let's Play Footsie is a pink tinted base. It's not a creme because it's sheer, but it's not a jelly because it's not squishy. Maybe it's kind of a crelly? Not completely sure. Whatever it is, it's gorgeous! The base is full of silver and pink glass fleck glitter, silver micro glitter, small silver, dark pink and gold hex glitter, medium sized gold and silver hex glitter, large pale pink hex glitter and extra large dark pink hex glitter.  It's a crazy combination, but it completely works! As you layer the polish you see the different dimensions of glitter hidden in the bottle that you never knew were there.

This is three coats of Let's Play Footsie over a clear base coat. It wasn't a smooth polish, but with every additional coat it seemed to even itself out more and more. Let's Play Footsie had a no hassle clean up and great dry time to ensure no pulling with the additional coats.

Let's Play Footsie just screams spring to me. It's bright and playful and would be beautiful for a Valentine's Day manicure.

The only slight downside was the VERY large hex glitters. They threw it off just a bit. I didn't have a bad thing to say, until those popped out. They don't completely change my view of Let's Play Footsie, but when I use this polish again I will either avoid putting them on or putting a ton of Gelous and Seche Vite over to make sure it's smooth.

Jen completely blew me away with the Valentine's Day Collection. The quality of the polishes at Wonder Beauty Products is fantastic! Wonderful formulas on the polishes, the glitters have perfect suspension, take off wasn't extremely difficult and zero staining. What more could you ask for from a polish? I loved that the names weren't conventional Valentine's Day names full of lovey-dovey mush and sappiness. All very playful and mysterious in some cases.

You can buy Wonder Beauty Products Valentines Day Collection for $10 a bottle for all but Blue Sterling. Blue Sterling is $11 a bottle. Restock on their Etsy Shop will be February 7th. It will also be available BEFORE THEN on LLarowe. Mark your calendars because you will want one, more or all of these beauties!
