Weekend Nail Mail
12:36 AMSo, we had fun plans this weekend to get out and drive up to Gettysburg and explore (the outlet mall). haha Then it decided to rain all weekend. There goes that plan. Even better, we had fun pajama days and watched movies, had dance parties and the best part of the whole weekend... laundry!! :o) To brighten my rainy days, I got some nail mail!! Nothing huge, but I'm still very excited about them!!
Saturday, I received some goodies from Lisa at Cosmetic Sanctuary! She is wonderful! She sent me a beautiful red NYC creme polish called I <3 NY and a deep plum Sally Hansen Insta-Dri polish filled with purple glass flecked glitter called Uptempo Plum. I can't wait to get the latter on my nails!! Lisa, you have impecable taste, my dear!

Also, in my mail on Saturday were some samples from Bumble and bumble. The envelope included 3 samples: Straight Shampoo, Straight Conditioner and Straight Blow Dry. Along with the samples was a free styling card. Basically I make an appointment and take it into the salon and I'll get a free 30 minute consultation and styling session. I'm working on teaching myself how to deal with my hair. It just always seems to take forever. I'm really excited about these items and I'll definitely keep you all posted on how I like them!
Then, Monday I went to get my mail and there was a little package in there from the lovely Stephanie, who follows me on my Facebook page. I had posted about finding a polish for a swap I had found, but they only had one left. I opted to put it in the pile to send to her even though I wanted it so very badly. Ironically enough, the name of the polish is Good Karma. Well, Stephanie found one and sent it to me, BUT the lovely lady I had purchased it for found one for herself and told me to keep it. Now, I have two of this beautiful blue from Spoiled by Wet n Wild. That means one is going in my giveaway/swap pile!
