So many people have been doing neon manis. It's been rainy and gloomy in these parts lately, so I figured I would grab the few I had and do one as well. The only neon polishes I have are matte, and I just got my first matte top coats. So I was also excited to finally be able to use the polishes as they were meant to be used... matte... not glossy! My nails look like highlighters right now. I feel like I'm back in high school Yes, I used to paint my nails with highlighters when I got bored in class sometimes... who didn't?!

Below are the colors I used. I did 2 coats of each, except for the yellow (Kiddie Flick) I did 3 coats of that to make sure it was nice and opaque. They all went on very streaky, but dried beautifully and quickly! I also did 1 coat of Essie's Matte About You, which I am now extremely fond of. Now, I can't wait to try it on a non-matte polish and see how it works.

 Really digging this mani! Simple and colorful! If I had a thin brush to do nail art with, I might have even put little "m"s on them like m&m's.

So glad I got these pictures taken when I did. Tonight, when getting dinner ready, I cut myself while chopping an onion and when opening containers, 6 nails have now chipped. :o( I'm hoping there's a way I can take off the polish without hurting my cut cause I really wanted to do another mani tonight.
