LynBDesigns Ugly Sweater Party

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! What's the best way to celebrate a birthday? A PARTY!!!!!! So, let's close this Hometown Holiday collection with an Ugly Sweater Party!!

LynBDesigns - Ugly Sweater Party

Ugly Sweater Party is a lightly blue tinted base (with the same formula as the clear bases) filled with blue micro glitter, small silver holo square glitter, teal diamond glitter, and multiple sizes and colors of hex glitter.

Left to right: 1 coat, 2 coats, 3 coats

This is three coats of Ugly Sweater Party.

There is nothing ugly about Ugly Sweater Party!

Look at how much fun this is! You all know how much I love blue glitter! This was just so much fun! All the other colors just add to the fun!

Left to right: Pure Ice - Draped, Pomegranate Nail Lacquer - Enchanted Lagoon, Zoya - AuroraCult Nails - Maniupulative and 365 Days of Color - Mrs. Claus.

As seen above from pinky to thumb.

This is one coat of Ugly Sweater Party over two coats of Pure Ice - Draped. Draped is a matte fuchsia glitter polish. These two go so well together. It's so quirky it adds to the Ugly Sweater Party fun so well. Definitely worth doing again!

This is one coat of Ugly Sweater Party over two coats of Pomegranate Nail Lacquer - Enchanted Lagoon. Enchanted Lagoon is a sea foam green with a heavy shimmer. I ended up really disliking this. The teal and sea foam just didn't go well together.

This is one coat of Ugly Sweater Party over two coats of Zoya - Aurora. Aurora is a plum purple jelly full of holo micro glitter. This is such a fun pairing, but it is definitely overwhelming. It's just a bit much. Probably won't be using this again later. Ugly Sweater Party really holds its own and doesn't need the extra oomph.

This is one coat of Ugly Sweater Party over two coats of Cult Nails - Manipulative. Manipulative and a lovely soft baby blue. This was a go to pairing for me and it turned out even better than I imagined. It is definitely a played down version of Ugly Sweater Party, but it's beautiful! They definitely complimented each other.

This is one coat of Ugly Sweater Party over two coats of 365 Days of Color - Mrs. Claus. Mrs. Claus was one of her LE polishes that was in her holiday mystery bags. It is a beautiful cranberry red jelly filled with gold glass fleck. This was a fun combination for me. The red was off from the fire engine red glitter so it still showed through. So much fun and I think a second coat would have even made it better.

Ugly Sweater Party is a blue glitter that is definitely worth adding to your collection. No issues, no faults whatsoever. Jenna really did a beautiful job creating this collection. You can grab Ugly Sweater Party, the rest of the Hometown Holiday collection or other beauties from other collections at LynBDesigns ETSY shop for $8 a bottle. Also, keep up with news, swatches and sales over at her Facebook page. She's really worth checking out and trying some goodies! I know I'll be wanting more!
